Internship Overview

Cognologix is seeking enthusiastic and talented AI Interns fascinated by Generative AI and Computer Vision. This internship offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in real-world projects, contribute to innovative solutions in visual intelligence and content generation, and learn from experienced professionals.

What You’ll Do

As an AI Intern specializing in Generative AI and Computer Vision, you will work closely with Data Science Engineers and contribute to all stages of the AI development lifecycle. Responsibilities include:

Data Preparation & Annotation: Collecting, cleaning, preprocessing, and annotating large visual and textual datasets for Generative AI and Computer Vision models.

Model Experimentation & Evaluation: Conducting experiments to test, evaluate, and fine-tune AI models for performance, accuracy, and scalability.

Research & Exploration: Investigating the latest advancements, architectures, and techniques in Generative AI (e.g., Transformers, Stable Diffusion, multimodal models) and Computer Vision (e.g., Vision Transformers).

Prototyping & Implementation: Assisting in building prototypes and integrating AI solutions into existing applications and systems.

Generative AI Development:

• Evaluating and fine-tuning Large Language Models (LLMs), Diffusion Models for image synthesis, text or code generation, and data augmentation.
• Experimenting with prompt engineering to optimize generative model outputs.
• Exploring new techniques like Agentic workflows, MCP, and safety/alignment mechanisms for generated content.

Computer Vision Solutions:

• Developing models for object detection, image segmentation, image classification, facial recognition, and video analysis.
• Working on data augmentation strategies to improve model robustness.
• Implementing advanced image and video processing techniques.

Documentation: Maintaining clear records of experiments, model development processes, and results.

Collaboration: Actively participating in team discussions, brainstorming new ideas, and working with cross-functional teams to align AI solutions with business goals.

Key Technical Skills:

Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning Generative AI

Requirements:

• Recently completed a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, or Machine Learning.
• Strong foundational knowledge of AI and machine learning concepts and algorithms.
• Demonstrated interest or project experience in Generative AI (e.g., LLMs, GANs, VAEs, Diffusion Models) or Computer Vision (e.g., CNNs, object detection, image segmentation).
• Proficiency in at least one programming language, preferably Python, with familiarity in relevant libraries for Generative AI, Computer Vision, and Machine Learning.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, particularly with visual data and model outputs.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• A strong desire to learn, adapt, and contribute in a fast-paced, innovation-focused environment.
